How do I import a route?

Bring a .gpx file into your library from Files, iCloud Drive, or another app's share sheet. The file's contents are copied into GPX Life, so the route still works even if the original is later moved or deleted.

Does my library sync across devices?

No. Your library is stored on each device individually — GPX Life does not run an iCloud sync between devices. Files you import from iCloud Drive stay in your iCloud Drive where you put them.

How do I back up my library?

GPX Life can bundle your entire library into a single JSON file that you can save to iCloud Drive or send to yourself. It's a handy backup before resetting the app or moving to a new device.

How do I send a route to another app?

Open a route and use Export (or the iOS share sheet) to hand it off to Strava, Komoot, Gaia GPS, Caltopo, WorkOutDoors, Garmin Connect, or any GPX-aware app.

Where does the weather come from?

Forecasts are pulled live from Open-Meteo using your route's start coordinates. Nothing is logged or tied to your identity.

What do I get with Pro?

Unlimited imports (the free tier covers up to 10 imported routes), Reverse Route, Auto-Detect Waypoints, and unlimited derived versions per route.

How do I restore a purchase?

Go to Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. Your Pro entitlement is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device you sign in to.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
